Parties, Pride and way more that we've missed

Over in the Notes blog on this site, you can read a diary of sorts about the development of the site. I'm embarrassed that it's turning out to be more daunting than I'd hoped to get it all ready.

In the process, I've been remiss in keeping the ttca.org blog up to date.

But let me just list a few of the things I've missed. Yes, of course, tickets are on sale to the Bump. Get them. (That's especially embarrassing since Tacky Tourists started the party decades ago and is still listed as a sponsor in exchange to the links we give them.)

Parties, Pride and way more that we've missed [contd.]

OneDegree will, once again, produce Tribe, the "official after-party" for the Bump. It will be across the street from EMP at Level 5.

There are a couple of Pride Week things that should be mentioned. SOAP is holding a volunteer appreciation party at Gameworks on Friday, October 26. They are also, significantly, looking for board members to help guide the organization. If you dare. And if you're not quite ready for that much commitment to the downtown pride parade, you could at least help them come up with a theme for next year's event.

OneDegree -- Egan Orion's company that pulled off an impressive feat in producing the Seattle Center party -- has announced that it will organize a 501(c)3 non-profit to produce next year's party.

And, hey, one just can't have too many non-profits doing thangs in the same few days, can one? But what OneDegree managed to do last year was remarkable enough that it certainly has earned its chance to join the mix.

QSquared also has a fascinating lineup of fall winter events.
